Man charged with killing fellow Catford care home resident

A care home resident has been charged with murdering a 93-year-old woman in Catford. Both Eileen Dean and Alexander Rawson, 62, lived at a home on Canadian Avenue before the alleged incident on Monday, 4 January. The Metropolitan police and London Ambulance Service arrived at the home at 00.40 following reports of an assault. Ms Dean was taken to hospital where she later died.
